Upper level shear inhibiting cyclone development

| Storm Report 2021

From west to east;

Disturbance Ten is crossing the Windward Islands now, westbound at 12 knots. Wind shear has taken a bite out of the convection column but will fan out some heavy showers and localised thunderstorms across the region over the next couple of days. There is less certainty over this developing next week but still warrants a weather watch.

Disturbance Twelve is now centred 500 miles south-sou’east of the Cape Verde Islands, westbound at 10 knots and producing a wide sweep of showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Atlantic. This is also experiencing adverse environmental conditions aloft and development is not expected for the time being.

Stand easy.
