Saharan sand from Marrakesh to Mexico City.

| Storm Report 2021

The only pressure formation of any interest today is Disturbance Nineteen which is currently centred 700 miles due north of the mouth of the Amazon moving west at 22 knots. This was showing early signs of development but has drawn large amounts of sand into its air supply which has killed off any notion of vertical convection. This is fairly typical at this stage of the season with a wide sweep of dry air across the entire reporting zone, which may continue for a week or two.

Stand easy.
