Weak landfall set for Mosquito Coast.

| Storm Report 2021

Disturbance Twenty Two is closing on the Mosquito coast of Nicaragua now at a sprightly 25 knots and will disappear overnight with little more than a few scattered thunderstorms.

Disturbance Twenty Four is now about midway between the African coast and the Caribbean. This is making around 25 knots on a westerly heading. Excessive groundspeed and airborne sand are keeping development in check for the time being. The wall of Saharan sand is weakening and conditions may become more favourable for development when this reaches the Caribbean towards the end of the week.

Stand easy.
