Eastern seaboard potential development chatter.

| Storm Report 2021

Disturbance Twenty Four is around one day’s steaming east of the Windward Islands, westbound at 24 knots. This will fan out rain showers and the odd thunderstorm across the eastern Caribbean over the coming weekend but has little in the way of development prospects.

Disturbance Twenty Five has stalled to the south west of the Cape Verde Islands and looks set to loaf about in the same area for a couple of days before joining the westbound convoy. Dry air will prevent this developing in the meantime.

There is chatter on the wires of a flurry of eastbound fronts leaving the continental United States next week, any of which may have development potential. Highly speculative of course.

Stand easy.
