Clouds gathering over Netherlands Antilles and Outer Banks of North Carolina.

| Storm Report 2021

From west to east;

Disturbance Fifty Seven is passing between the Netherlands Antilles and the coast of Venezuela moving to the west at 15 knots bringing some heavy showers across Curacao later. This will press on to the west enhancing thunderstorm activity across the southern Caribbean. Upper level shear and interaction with land will prevent development.

Disturbance Fifty Eight has formed offshore North Carolina, a little east of the Outer Banks. This is expected to lounge around in the area for a day or so before strolling north towards, but remaining offshore of the mid-Atlantic and southern New England coast where it is expected to produce gale force winds. This is expected to track safely seaward away from the eastern seaboard but may intensify due to higher than average sea surface temperatures.

Stand easy.
