Rainmaker headed for southern Mexico

| Storm Report 2022

Disturbance Three is still moving slowly towards the Bay of Campeche, currently close to the coast of Belize shaping up for the Yucatan channel at little more than a walking pace. Once through the channel, a turn to the west is expected into the southern Bay of Campeche. There, the system is expected to meet the remnants of a Pacific tropical disturbance which has jumped the fence and will jointly produce heavy rainfall over Central America, Belize, and southern Mexico with possible flash flooding and mudslides. Environmental conditions are not particularly favourable for development and this is likely to disappear ashore over southern Mexico early next week.

Stand easy.
