Medium term weather watch on Caribbean and eastern Atlantic.

| Storm Report 2022

From west to east:

Disturbance Twenty Three is currently quite shapeless and without purpose centred 250 miles south-east of Puerto Rico headed west at 14 knots.  This is expected to turn slightly north of west over the next few days and head towards the north-west Caribbean where environmental conditions may become more favourable for the development before moving into Belize and then into Central America. A turn further north towards the south-western Gulf of Mexico cannot be ruled out but currently looks unlikely. Still worth a weather watch of course.

Disturbance Twenty Four lost the fight against airborne sand and is off radar now.

Disturbance Twenty Five crossed the Cape Verde Islands a few hours ago and is moving to the west at 14 knots. This has some rather confusing characteristics with what would seem to be no surface organisation, but a sizeable spread of thunderstorms to the south-west of the nominal centre. Also worth a watch.

Stand easy.
