Rain expected in the Caribbean but no development
Thursday 30th June 2016
Disturbance nine is about 450 miles north of the mouth of the Amazon and westbound at 15 knots. It is not expected to develop as it moves west other than to increase showers and thunderstorms across the Windward Islands and eastern Caribbean over the coming weekend. Swirling lumps of wet air are gathering along the coast of west Africa indicating the Atlantic production line is gathering a head of steam.
