No 4th July meteorological fireworks today
Monday 4th July 2016
Disturbance nine is close to landing in Central America where scattered showers and localised storm conditions will spread into southern Mexico by the dawn's early light but with no significant development expected.
Disturbance eleven is following the Atlantic track west but slightly north and likely to brush the Virgin Islands when it eventually makes a landfall but far from an inspiring one really. Conditions ahead of the remain hostile for development and this is likely to fade at the twilight's last gleaming. Happy Independence Day to our friends across the water - something we may run short of on this side.
