Disturbance eleven reaches Nicaragua

Thursday 7th July 2016

Disturbance eleven is almost ashore in Nicaragua now and still hurtling west at 22 knots. This might still have some puff left when it reaches the Pacific where conditions are favourable if it slows down, but will be off my screen by then.

Disturbance twelve is about 1400 miles east of Barbados, westbound at 18 knots. In about three days from now, this will move through the Windward Islands where it is likely to bring gusty winds and periods of rain but general conditions are unfavourable for tropical development.

Stand easy.
