Disturbance fifty two formed in south west Caribbean
Friday 11th November 2016
As anticipated, disturbance fifty two has formed into a broad area of low pressure in the southwestern Caribbean. This low is expected to remain more or less in place for the next few days where environmental conditions are not particularly favourable for tropical development however they could become a little more favourable in the coming days. Regardless of development, the system is likely to move toward the northeast. Heavy rainfall is possible for Jamaica, Hispaniola, and the Bahamas but the frontal boundary will prevent any threat to Florida or the Gulf of Mexico.
