Two weak disturbances under way
Saturday 3rd June 2017
The weak disturbance which formed yesterday to the south east of the Lesser Antilles has organised a little and is recognised as Disturbance Two. This is still moving west at 15 knots but has nudged slightly north of track and may now enter the southern Caribbean over the next couple of days, producing enhanced showers and some thunderstorm activity.
Some fall-out from fun and games in the Pacific has brought moist air to the southern Bay of Campeche and formed Disturbance Three. This has started to creep to the north east. Upper level shear should see this off with little more than heavy rain in patches and the odd roll of thunder.
