Disturbance Nine passing Lesser Antilles

Disturbance Nine is passing over the southern Lesser Antilles now, westbound at about 20 knots. This will continue west without further development and its ground speed will ensures that the effect of any rain showers and thunderstorms will be short lived on the surface.
Disturbance Eleven is about a day south-west of the Cape Verde islands moving west at 8 knots. This has quite pronounced shower and thunderstorm activity associated with it and conditions ahead may be favourable for development. Worth watching.
