Four weak disturbances at sea
Saturday 15th July 2017
Tropical Depression Four is now completely fragmented with no significant shape, just a cluster of rain belts centred about 100 miles south of western Lake Charles. This is expected to dissipate when it reaches central coastal Texas tomorrow. This is causing localised thunderstorms and some heavy showers but won't develop.
Disturbance Sixteen is over the central Bahamas no and headed north west at around 12 knots causing heavy showers and the odd roll of thunder. I would expect this to turn north in the next few hours and dissipate in the next day or so without further impact on land.
Disturbance Fourteen is now crossing the Netherlands Antilles, moving west at about 18 knots. This is not expected to develop as it tracks quickly across the southern Caribbean over the next few days. Not a peep from our man in the north.
Disturbance Fifteen is centred around 500 miles north east of the mouth of the Amazon and moving west at 6 knots. This is expected to remain weak as it continues on this track.
