New development chatter for western Caribbean

Disturbance Fifty Three is the disturbance that won't go away, now on its third death bed close to the Yucatan peninsula. This is continuing to cause enhanced showers and thunderstorms storms across the Yucatan, Central America, and portions of southern Mexico today. No development is expected.
The wires are still buzzing with speculation over a cell of low pressure to forming in the western or southwestern Caribbean by Wednesday or Thursday with favourable development conditions and a potential track to the northeast toward Cuba and the Bahamas.
