No active disturbances but some personally aimed speculation
Thursday 2nd November 2017
There are no active disturbances across the region today. There is some chatter surrounding an area of low pressure forming in the south west Caribbean in the coming days. Conditions remain favourable for development but with limited track options – either a quick U-turn into central America or a track somewhere between north and east. The Gulf of Mexico seems to be impassable at present. If this system developed and went east, I would personally have timed a risk survey in Haiti really badly. Wouldn't the Canadian guy love that?
