Disturbance Fifty Nine looking to develop in east Atlantic
Monday 13th November 2017
Disturbance Fifty Nine is now centred about 700 miles southwest of the Azores, producing disorganised showers and thunderstorms. This is expected to move slowly northeast over the next few days where conditions are marginally favourable for this system to acquire some tropical characteristics, possibly becoming a subtropical or tropical cyclone over the next few days. This disturbance may bring some rainfall to the Azores but is not expected to be a significant threat to any land.
