Non-developing low near Azores
Wednesday 15th November 2017
Slow-moving Disturbance Fifty Nine is now only 100 miles south of the Azores producing disorganised showers and some impressive thunderstorms that are affecting the central and eastern Azores. The system is starting to move north east at 12 knots. The chances of this developing into a storm have all but disappeared now.
In the central Caribbean, a trough is generating disorganised showers and thunderstorms, some across eastern Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola and the eastern Bahamas. The weather is expected to remain unsettled during the next few days, but no development is expected. So much for the Canadian guy having this down as a chunky storm.
