First whiff of end of term for 2017 season
Thursday 16th November 2017
Disturbance Fifty Nine weakened overnight and is barely recognisable now, leaving just a few showers around the Azores in its wake.
Showers and thunderstorms, heavy at times, continue to impact Jamaica, Hispaniola, eastern Cuba, and the eastern Bahamas. This is still likely to hang around for a few days but development is most unlikely due to upper level wind shear.
There is the first whiff of end of term in the air.
