Disturbance Two idling in the south west Caribbean
Saturday 19th May 2018
Disturbance Two is still loafing about in the far south-west Caribbean. Overnight aerial images show little in the way of meaningful intent but the modellers are all rather set on this mobilising and heading for the eastern Gulf fo Mexico, passing through or close east of the Yucatan channel early next week.
Most of the charts I'm looking at show a decent spread of wind shear across the Florida peninsula and beyond. This should have a weakening effect on anything headed that way.
