Weather watch on new disturbance
Saturday 9th June 2018
Disturbance Three has formed just to the north of Panama and is expected to move slowly north towards the Yucatan Channel and Gulf of Mexico by the middle of next week. Development seems unlikely at present but changes aloft are taking place which introduce uncertainly. We will need to keep a weather watch on this.
Disturbance Four has piped up 400 miles due north of the mouth of the Amazon and is moving east at 12 knots. This is showing no sign of development but will undoubtedly bring rain and thunderstorms to Trinidad, Tobago and the Netherlands Antilles from tomorrow.
