Three weak disturbances
Sunday 24th June 2018
Disturbance Six has loafed about in the Bay of Campeche but not used the time constructively and remains kitten-weak. This is now underway again headed west-nor'west at 5 knots and will drift ashore somewhere south of Tampico soon.
Rainmaker Disturbance Seven is centred about 200 miles south of Jamaica moving west-nor'west at 10 knots. This system is also weak and only serving to cause heavy rain across eastern Cuba, Jamaica, and the Caymans but shows little sign of development.
Disturbance Eight is centred around half a day east of the Windward Island moving west at a brisk 20 knots. This is also daily weak but will boost rainfall for the coast of Venezuela and the Windward Islands today and tomorrow but without development.
