Disturbance Ten battling sand during Atlantic crossing
Thursday 28th June 2018
Disturbance Ten is about three days west of the Cape Verde Islands, heading west at a brisk 20 knots. Dry, sandy air and a pointless ground speed should keep development nicely in check. This could reach the Windward Islands over the coming weekend causing sand-laden rain and thunderstorms but little else.
Disturbance Eleven failed to get a foothold off the Carolinas and what is left, is headed seaward.
