New development to bring rain to eastern seaboard
Friday 20th July 2018
A new low pressure centre designated Disturbance Eighteen has developed off the coast of South Carolina which is expected to move north of the Outer Banks by tomorrow morning and into southern New England by early Sunday. This won't develop significantly but will produce heavy rains and some bursts of strong winds from the Outer Banks to New England over the coming day or two.
Disturbance Seventeen is now centred around 250 miles north of Panama headed west at 18 knots and is probably on its last knockings.
