Second disturbance in futile battle with sand
Wednesday 1st August 2018
Disturbance Twenty is currently crossing the southernmost Windward Islands headed west at 18 knots. Localised stormy gusts can be expected with some heavy showers but tropical development is not expected.
Disturbance Twenty One is also having a futile shot at developing in airborne sand. This has piped up about 150 miles south west of the Cape Verde Island and is headed west at 12 knots but has little or no chance of cyclonic development.
Stand easy.
