LESLIE creating more tough days at sea

Monday 1st October 2018

The last gasps of KIRK are close to the coast of Nicaragua heading west at 18 knots. This will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity but development would seem highly illogical. So much for the Canadian guy's hurricane.

Tropical Storm LESLIE is now is 620 miles east of Bermuda creeping west but with no real determination to increase ground speed and is likely to remain milling around in this area for a few more days. An intensification to hurricane strength is still expected but will be of no threat to land.

Disturbance Forty Five is now 600 miles north east of the mouth of the Amazon moving west at 22 knots. This ground speed and some upper level shear should keep a lid on development.

Heavy seas mid Atlantic otherwise stand easy.
