Storm season still lacking a coherent ending

Thursday 1st November 2010

OSCAR weakened into a large non-tropical low-pressure system across the North Atlantic overnight and is less likely to brush the British Isles now.

There are no disturbances across the basin. Although there is no sign of any imminent tropical development over the next few days, there are still some hotspots across the reporting region leaving the 2018 season as yet without a coherent ending and until then, not over.

Stand easy.
