Disturbance One headed safely seaward

Saturday 18th May 2019

As often happens at this time of the year, a low pressure cell has developed in the wake of a westbound frontal system. Disturbance One has formed between the Bahamas and Bermuda bringing some mixed weather to the area. This will move harmlessly north-east and pass close to Bermuda on Tuesday. Environmental conditions do not appear favourable for this to develop into anything significant as things stand.

My sincere apologies to the lady who emailed me from Bermuda a couple of days ago, whom I told with confidence that I could see nothing on radar for a week or so.

Stand easy.
