Rainmaker headed for Mexican coast

Sunday 2nd June 2019

The only pressure system of any interest across the region today is Disturbance Two, typically for this time of the seaso, home-grown in the Bay of Campeche and destined to become a rainmaker for the Mexican coast. Now centred around 230 miles south east of Tampico, this is moving west-nor'west at 3 knots. The slight chance of this developing we reported yesterday has increased slightly and this may freshen before making a landfall over eastern Mexico between Tampico and Veracruz on Monday night with some very heavy rainfall and gusty squalls with winds up to 45 knots in places.

Otherwise, stand easy.
