Weakening disturbance passing Curaçao
Friday 5th July 2019
Disturbance Eight is passing north of the Netherlands Antilles, westbound at a brisk 22 knots. Some slight surface organisation is being shredded by this rapid ground speed, reducing shower and thunderstorm and shaping up for dissipation over the next day or two.
Disturbance Nine is still battling airborne sand mid-Atlantic in the convergence zone moving west at 8 knots. This is unlikely to develop.
