A welcome storm free day
Friday 4th October 2019
Disturbance Forty Four is currently located in the far southern Gulf of Mexico just north of the Yucatan peninsula moving slowly west sou'west. This is showing no more organisation than it has done for the last couple of days. This doesn't seem to have any development ambitions before heading ashore along the western side of the Bay of Campeche early next week although rain will be a factor.
Disturbance Forty Five is around 300 miles south west of Bermuda drifting north, heading harmlessly seaward and weakening towards dissipation over the coming weekend.
Disturbance Forty Six is about a day west of the African coast headed west at 18 knots. This is fairly weak and expected to remain so for the next few days, at the very least.
Our first named storm-free day for some time.
