Finished With Engines 2019 storm season for the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.

Wednesday 13th November 2019

Bands of frontal activity are now dominating the skies of the Gulf of Mexico and eastern seaboard, the African production line has packed up and the central and north Atlantic are now in full winter flow, pouring muck and filth towards northern Europe. Sea temperatures have more or less balanced across the region and the flow of rising air into the western Caribbean has ended. I would normally leave this another week before wrapping up but frankly, see little if any likelihood of tropical development. The Canadian guy has undoubtedly lined the floor of his hut with straw and curled up for the winter leaving me to ring down Finished With Engines for the 2019 season.

I will produce an end of season summary and butcher's bill for the 2019 season in a week or so, with thanks where thanks are due.

Finally, apologies to the two new addressees who asked to be added to the list today. It seems you missed it.

Stand down.
