Disturbance Fifteen closing on Mosquito coast
Sunday 28th June 2020
From west to east,
Disturbance Fifteen is nearing the end of its uneventful sprint towards the coast of Nicaragua where it will make a rainy landfall with the odd thunderstorm in a few hours. Safely off radar tonight.
Disturbance Sixteen is now 450 miles north of the mouth of the Amazon headed west at 16 knots. This will cross the Windward Islands overnight on Tuesday with plenty of rain but in the face of strong upper level shear, won't develop as it enters the Caribbean.
