Disturbance Nineteen set to bring heavy rain to Bermuda
Saturday 4th July 2020
Disturbance Nineteen is now around 250 miles south-west of Bermuda on a east-nor'easterly heading at 16 knots. This is likely to pass south of Bermuda tomorrow and stands a slight chance of strengthening but unlikely to have a significant impact aside from some heavy rain as it gathers ground speed.
Disturbance Eighteen is now loosely centred around 450 miles north-nor'east of the mouth of the Amazon headed west at 12 knots. This is battling dry air and upper level shear and is weakening. Whatever remains of this by the time it reaches the Lesser Antilles by Monday will only produce showers and scattered thunderstorms but little else.
