Calm seas, happy sailors

Saturday 26th September 2020

Disturbance Fifty is now centred around 1,000 miles a tad south of west of the Cape Verde Islands. This has not enjoyed a favourable development environment and is showing no sign of surface circulation or vertical convection. This will trek west-nor'west for the next few days and is looking increasingly likely to curve away before reaching the Caribbean.

That's it. Quite a difference to last Saturday when we had five named cyclones on radar.

Stand easy.
