No disturbances across the convergence zone
The first low pressure pulse of the season – disturbance one - has not survived the Atlantic crossing and has filled to the north of the Amazon delta. Whatever is left of this will enter the Caribbean unnoticed.
We will continue to monitor the entire region but will not issue any reports over the coming days if the central Atlantic fails to produce anything remotely inspiring. The ‘official' start to the season is 1st June.
