Disturbance two and moisture from BARBARA to enter Golf of Campeche
From west to east
Whilst we do not usually report on events in the Pacific, tropical storm BARBARA is approaching the Mexican coast from the west in the area of the Gulf of Tehuantepec. These systems rarely if ever jump the fence into the Gulf of Mexico, and BARBARA will dissipate fairly quickly over the mountains of Mexico, but moist air will enter the Gulf of Campeche.
Disturbance two is a large area of unsettled weather in the north west Caribbean. This area is likely to move to the north-west or north and be enhanced by moisture from BARBARA however environmental conditions are forecast to be too hostile to allow for the formation of anything of great meteorological arousal.
