ANDREA done and dusted
General overview 1300z 9th June 2013
What remains of ANDREA is now out in the north Atlantic as an extra-tropical low pressure cell spreading gloomy weather, but presenting no serious meteorological challenges and is now outside of our monitoring area anyway.
Disturbance four is now located just to the north of Hispaniola and moving to the west-nor'west at 15 knots but filling and will dissipate harmlessly over the next couple of days. Disturbance five is centred about 500 m east of the Lesser Antilles and moving west at 10 knots. Both systems are facing upper level wind shear which is effecting the entire area and will prevent any development.
