DORIAN dispersed and no aggressive systems likely in the short term
General overview 1200z 31st July 2013
The remnants of DORIAN seem to have dispersed in the last stages of approaching the Florida straits.
Disturbance twenty-six has also weakened and dissipated, as was three days west of the Cape Verde Islands.
A quick roll call of the main forecasters and modellers finds a consensus view that no tropical depressions or storms are expected to develop in the reporting area for the next five days. At this time of year, definitive starements looking ahead five days are highly speculative, but there seems to be little cause to disagree with this. For now, anyway.
