Weak low pressure system in south western Gulf unlikely to develop...

General overview Friday 30th May

There has been early chatter around an area of low pressure system forming in the Gulf of Mexico, led by a familiar forecaster in Canada. The entire Gulf is under a canopy of very strong upper level shear, so the likelihood of this developing is fairly low. Regardless of development, a large patch of squally weather will move into Gulf late next week.

Stand easy.
