Three disappointimg low pressure systems in the reporting area
From west to east -
Disturbance Four is now centred around 160 miles east-sou'east of Cape Canaveral and headed north-east at a leisurely 5 knots. Upper-level wind shear over the area will prevent any development. Late tomorrow or early Monday it will merge with a frontal system and accelerate out to sea.
Disturbance Three has lost definition somewhere around the Cayman Islands. This will make its way into the Gulf of Mexico, but upper-level wind shear over the region will prevent any development.
Disturbance Five is just over a day's steaming into the deep tropical Atlantic and headed west at 10 knots. This will continue to produce a large area of showers and thunderstorms but conditions in its path are not favourable, and development is not expected.
