Disturbance Six off the coast of South Carolina

Disturbance Six is located off the South Carolina and is moving to the south-sou'east at 3 knots. This is expected to make a clockwise loop over the next 2 days, returning more or less to the same position, perhaps a little closer to the coast of north eastern Florida, but still well to the east. Thereafter, this will head harmlessly seaward. Environmental conditions are fairly fertile for development however most reasonable modellers indicate limited development. I would not be dismissive of some deepening taking place. Aerial images do show some fairly respectable surface organisation and if a weakening of upper level shear was to take place, this could develop. If so, little more than weak tropical fish storm, with some increased rainfall on the coast of the south-eastern seaboard before the system heads east.

Stand easy.
