A fine day at sea in the tropical Atlantic.

A tropical wave located south of the Cape Verde Islands could develop into an area of low pressure by early next week over the central tropical Atlantic. Environmental conditions are expected to be marginally conducive for gradual development of this system through midweek as it moves west. Aerial imagery shows a good patch of moist air ahead, however there is still a debilitating African dust cloud north of 16 degrees north, which will severely restrict the fertility of the intertropical convergence zone. A fine day at sea.

Stand easy.
