Disturbance thirteen westbound
Tropical disturbance thirteen is just past mid Atlantic -centred about a thousand miles east-nor'east of the Amazon, moving west at 10 knots. Squall lines have increased and the potential for development is increasing. Most computer guidance now brings this system into the central to northern Lesser Antilles as a depression or weak tropical storm late on Friday. The European modeller continues to play this down and they may have a good argument. There is still upper level shear ahead.
Elsewhere, a featureless barometric profile.
