New disturbance close to Yucatan peninsula
An area of enhanced rotation and moisture has developed close to the Yucatan peninsula causing some heavy showers and locally stormy weather, mostly over the peninsula. As long as this area of disturbed weather remains over land, development chances will remain low.
Disturbance thirty nine is still hove to around 700 miles north-nor'west of the Amazon.The system is expected to move generally westward and could bring a few showers to the Lesser Antilles in five days time but otherwise not showing any sign of life.
Disturbance thirty eight is three days west of the Cape Verde Islands and is moving west at 9 knots. This is likely to continue for the next few days but development is not expected. Stand easyBack
