Weak disturbance two in south-west central Atlantic
Overview 27th May 2015
Disturbance Two is a broad and currently loosely-formed upper level low centred about 400 miles south east of Bermuda and moving west at about 5 knots. This is likely to continue to head slowly west then weaken tomorrow and dissipate on Friday or Saturday. Development is not expected.
Well-wishers are expecting increasing moisture in the vicinity of Hispaniola in 5-6 days but as things stand, this is unlikely to develop. There are a couple of lumps in the pressure profile across the intertropical convergence zone but conditions aloft are unlikely to enhance them.
