Disturbance three beginning to head east
Disturbance three is now stationary close to the eastern side of the Yucatan channel and expected to start to head north east soon crossing Cuba and Florida before arriving over the Bahamas by Saturday.
While there is a large area of squalls associated with the disturbance, strong upper level winds are likely to prevent any tropical. The main impact is expected to be heavy localised rainfall extending from Jamaica across to the Bahamas.
The east coast of Florida could also see locally heavy rainfall during the next day or two.
