Conditions remain hostile to storm development
General overview Wednesday 29th July 2015
Disturbance eighteen remains weak and is now centred near the east coast of Florida. This is still set to track to the north-east but as only a pathetic and hopeless low pressure cell and is expected to be absorbed into a frontal boundary fairly quickly after going seaborne.
Disturbance twenty is a day west of the Cape Verde Islands. It has lost some headway and may become absorbed into the new disturbance twenty one that emerged off the coast of Africa yesterday, just a day's steaming astern. The intertropical convergence zone remains hostile to storm development.
