New weak disturbance in north east Gulf of Mexico
Disturbance twenty two has formed in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. The disturbance is a surface trough and defined by a large area of disorganised showers and storms. The disturbance is expected to move to the northeast towards the Florida Panhandle later. Environmental conditions are not particularly favourable for development, however it is expected to produce showers and storms for the northeastern Gulf of Mexico today, and then later for the Florida Panhandle and southern Georgia over the coming days.
Disturbance twenty one is plodding west at 12 knots, currently centred about 300 miles north-nor'east of the Amazon delta. There are no signs of surface organisation and no development is expected. Useless.
