BONNIE making rain for Memorial Day

BONNIE is inland now and has weakened to a remnant low. Currently centred around 50 miles nor'-northeast of Charleston, this is creeping to the north east, almost parallel to the coast. Light winds are being observed over land while winds of only 15 to 20 knots are being reported offshore.

This is still making rain over the central eastern seaboard but doing little else. Some significant rainfall is being reported in places making for a very wet Memorial Day for many.

Disturbance two is north of Hispaniola and moving slowly north but shows little in the way of potential for development.

Raincoats in Charleston, otherwise stand easy.
